The video file shows mammalian CHO (Chinese hamster ovarian) cells as they are imaged in the Canty flow cell. Both live and dead cells are imaged. The dead cells appear as blue spots in which a dye has penetrated the cell membranes while the live cells appear intact with bright rings surrounding dark colored centers.
