The CANTY Molten Glass Level system consists of a high temperature surveillance camera, mounted to view the surface of the molten glass through an opening in the wall. On the wall directly opposite the camera, a reference point is created, often by simply removing a brick from the wall, or boring a hole though it. The position of the reflection of this reference point on the surface of the glass relative to the fixed mount camera, is directly related to the molten glass level. CantyVision™ software is configured to track the position of this reflection with accuracy to 0.001” (0.025mm). A cross-hair is displayed on the operator screen image at all times, to allow the user to visually verify what point is begin tracked by the software. Control outputs are available to the DCS via OPC, 4-20mA and Modbus TCP/IP.
Vector Control Modules (VCM’s) serve as image processors for any of CANTY’s applications requiring analysis. These units are built as a turnkey solution to ensure the most convenient and simple startup for a camera system. VCM’s can power camera systems using power over Ethernet (POE) and come pre-loaded with application specific software to best serve your needs. With three different families of models, CANTY provides a variety of VCM’s to fit the needs of your installation. See our product brochure for additional information!
Features:
• No loss of glass over time • Scratches do not affect safety or life • Unlike competitors glass, no cracks
The Canty QuickPort™ is a patented, safe, quick opening closure for process vessels. Originally used in the offshore diving industry as a transfer lock on decompression chambers. QuickPorts™ are used with no additional interlock by various non-industrial personnel in applications where any operational failure would be fatal.
The Canty SolidSizer unit is a versatile tool for lab environments to determine particle size and shape, thereby eliminating the need for sieving. The system also has multiple configurations that allow color analysis and defect detection, as well as a tilting stage for flat particle analysis. The modular design allows for easy assembly of different configurations depending upon product type and/or analysis desired. The tilt stage feature is similar to the technology patented in the Canty RockSizer and is especially effective for analyzing flat, stone-like particles. The stage is designed for both back and front lighting use.
Monitor phase split in batch mode on organic droplets for increased product recovery. As the droplets appear the system warns of organic phase and the upcoming emulsion. The amount of early droplets and their retraction time will indicate the completeness of the separation. Once the split is identified and stopped, the operator has a visual verification from the video monitor. The color can then be analyzed to ensure there is no inversion.
